    Really hard
    The tree harvest was followed by seed planting. The forester was amazed because the number of seeds that sprouted was 2 3/4 times the number that had been planned on. If 140,000 sprouts had been planned on, how many sprouts did the forester get?? :confused:

    This is not hard. It's just multiplication.

    What is 140,000 times ?

    Like galactus said all you have to do first is multiply 140,000 by 2 (because it is 2 3/4. Then you get 140,000, divide it by 4 and times 3 to get 3/4.

    Now add your two answers together!
