    Problem on boats
    Help required to solve algebra 1 homework problemA boat running upstream covers 16 km distance in 4 hours, while covering the same distance downstream it takes 2 hours. What is the speed of the boat in still water?Thanks

    The boats speed in still water is the average of its speed going upstream and downstream.
