okay this sint really homework but I had no where else to put my randommath question I hd...
how would I check the probability at this...
so normal dice have 6 sides ranging from 1-6
lets say you have three noram dice versus 3 specail dice1st dice has three sides with a 1 and three sides with a 6, the second has three sides with 2 and three sides with a 5 and the las one has three sides with 3 and three sides with a 4...
if I were to make up a game where you had to choose one set. And you scred by adding up the sides of the dice to score...
would the prbablity of them be the ame or change?
how do I figure which one will get to 60 first?
is this even possible
I was randomely driving in my car when I pondered that question.
because you have in each set 3 sets of each number... just they are placed diferntly..
anyway some help iht how to go about figuringthis balffling quest.
a formula maybe?

okay here's the thing...
so like the first one the standard dice, it would be 1/6 *1/6*1/6 =1/216

but that is that it will land on the same thing 3 times...
or that you'll get three 6,

on the second set you could never get three 6 on one roll since the max you ocould get is a 6 a 5 and a 4
so you can get 18 on one roll, but only 15 with the other set.

but wth one set you have well 1/216 chance of getting that roll?

where as with the other one you have a
1/2 ^3 = 1/8 chance of getting 15 where as you have a 1/216 chance of getting 18...

so I would guess tehre are 216 combinations possible with three standard dice where as tehre are only 8 possibilities with the special dice set...

you can get max of 15 and min of 6 each roll

where as in the standardyour range is 3-18 with a 216 chance of rolling on any of them

but I still don't really know how to figure out which would be better, or even if I could make this into a good game...
maybe it could be a good math game for kids.

anyway any thougths or something I missed or a better way to go about this.
