    Math help
    The first aircraft has 59 more seats than the second aircraft. The third aircraft has 54 fewer seats than the second aircraft. If their total number of seats is 422 find the number of seats for each aircraft.

    We'll be glad to help if you first show us your attempt at setting up equations that convey the facts you have been given. For example, if x = number of seats on the second aircraft, then the number of seats on the first is x+59. Now do the same for the third aircraft, and add them up. The total is 422, so you can solve for x, and from that determine the seats on each aircraft.
