    The basic formula to memorize is:

    Distance = rate x time

    In this problem you want to find time, so you can rearrange this to get:

    Time = Distance/Rate

    You have 156 miles at 80 miles per hour, so:

    Time = 156 miles/80 MPH.

    Then add the 30 minutes layover. What do you get for a final answer?
