How do i solve these very hard physics problems?
    27. A vertical steel wire, 5m long and of 1mm2 cross section area has a Young’s Modulus of 2.2 X 1011 Pa. Compute the period of a body of mass 2 Kg attached to the lower end of the wire and executing vertical vibrations?

    29. A steel wire, diameter 0.5mm is 3m long. When a mass of 4.5kg is hung on the wire, it elongates 3mm. Determine the modulus of elasticity.

    30. An elevator is suspended by 3 steel cables, each 1 cm in diameter. When the floor is even with the first floor of the building. The length of each of the suspending cables is 25m. How far below the floor level will the elevator drop when a 700 kg piece of machinery is pushed on the elevator?

    31. 31. Determine the fractional change in volume of a block of glass when subjected to a hydrostatic pressure of 7 X 103 Pa. The Bulk Modulus of copper is 5.1 X 1011 Pa.

    32. 32. Compute the Volume contraction pf a solid copper cube 10 cm on an edge when subjected to a hydrostatic pressure of 7 X 103 Pa. The bulk modulus of copper is is 5.1 X 1011 Pa.

    33. The compressibility of water is 4.4 / 1011 Pa. Find the decrease in volume of 100cm3 of water when subjected to 1.5 X 103 Pa.

I found these questions as hard as heck, and I've almost spent a day finding the answers to these, but to no avail. Can anyone help me please.:(

    27. I have to think more about it, something seems to be wrong with my calculations...

    29. Use . Be careful of the units!

I'm running out of time. Try using the formulae you already have. These will help you better. You need to give me a formula which includes bulk modulus, pressure, volume, etc, for I haven't done this yet at school. I'm sure you'll be able to do these :)
