    for a graph
I have to find the slope-intercept of an equation...

    1. slope=2 passes through (1,5)...

    2. passes through (-1,-5) and (3,2)

    3. passes through (0,3) and is perpendicular to a line whose equation is y-7x=4?

i have to find the slope-intercept of an equation...

    1. slope=2 passes through (1,5)...
Everything is given. Slope-intercept form is y=mx+b. You have x,y,and m. Plug those in and solve for b.

    2. passes through (-1,-5) and (3,2)
Use the definition of slope, to find m
You have x and y. Proceed as in #1.

    3. passes through (0,3) and is perpendicular to a line whose equation is y-7x=4?
Solve y-7x=4 for y. It'll be in y=mx+b form. You can easily see what the slope is. The slope of the perp. Line will be the negative reciprocal of that. You have x and y, proceed as before.
