    A centrifugal pump is used to supply water to a 10 floor building which consist of 35 flats each flat is occupied by 6 persons
    1-Work out daily water requirement the under ground and over head tank capacity Assume that each person require 35 gallon of water/day
    2-Estimate the pumping rate of the pump the pumping of water is controlled automatically using automatic water level switches.

    A centrifugal pump is used to supply water to a over head tank located at the top of a 10 floor building ,tank capicity=30cu.m, Estimate size of rising main to over head tank select most suitable pump from lawora pump catalog ,Estimate power require which fit in the system Assume total length pipe=50m,Elevation difference of water level 31m,fitting used=2 gate valve,6 elbow 90 degree,1 check valve ,Maximum running time of pump is 2hrs/day.
