    How many degrees does Earth turn during an eight-hour school day? (Assume that Earth makes one revolution every 24 hours.)

    Earth turns 360 degrees in 24 hours.
    8 hours is a third of 24 hours.
    A third of 360 degrees is 120 degrees.
