    Conversion equivalents
To keep track of mileage and fuel needs in Canada, your friends suggests that you convert your car's mpg into kilometers per liter. Your car's highway fuel efficiency is 45 mpg. Convert your car's fuel efficiency to miles per liter. How would I do that?

There are 1.61 kilometers in a mile and 3.79 liters in a gallon.

    Convert away.:)

To get miles/liter, just divide 45 by 3.79.

45 mpg. That is mighty good mileage. My Toyota Yaris gets about 40.
