    Coffee
    An 11 ounce can of good taste coffee costs $4.99, A 13 ounce can of homebrew coffee costs $5.49. Per ounce which is the better buy?

    You need to get your cost per unit of coffee for both purchases.

    So take your purchase price divided by the number of ounces equals price per ounce.

    The lowest price per ounce will be the better buy.
