    Bearing and Course.
    1. The bearing of an island, 4mi away; from a ship is S60*E. After the ship has travelled at a course of 30* for 3 mi. what is the bearing of the island? How far is the island?

    2. Two ship A and B left a port at the same time. Ship A with speed of 3 mi/h has a course of 50* while ship B at 120*. After 2 hours, thr bearing of B from A is S40*E and can be seen 10 mi away. How fast is B?

    My answers:
    1.) 3.46 miles
    2.) 5.32 mi/hour

    May I know if my answers are right? Please. Thank you.

    Could you also post how you got to those answers?

    You didn't give the bearing for the first one and I didn't get any of the answers you've got.
