    algebra expression
    Need help with this one problem...

    (8e^4 - 8e^2 - 9) + (7e^4 + 3e + 9)

    It says I have to "add" it :mad:

    Yes, add it.

    I suggest you let y = e

    Then, e^2 = y^2, e^4 = y^4, etc.

    Can you do it now?
