    Algebra Equation Rearranging

    I'm looking for a little help arranging the below equation to solve for .

my son had a warm up problem that I think he got wrong. It was 5x-2y=8 I think you set x at 0 and then you find y. I say 5(0)-2y=8 y=-4 when x is 0. Is this correct?
