    We always end up fighting so why do we keep doing it?

    Me and this guy dated before either one of is got married and then I married his best friend and his wife is my best friend. We were sexual when we dated but now its only been sexual through texting and pictures. We both love our spouse and have agreed to try and put a stop on it all. Tonight was it. We decided we could only be friends. We've said it before but keep coming back to each other. I feel like I'm still in love with him like I was 10 years ago. We for some reason keep coming back but together for long term were not good. We always end up fighting so why do we keep doing it?

    Glad you have stopped this behavior because it demeans you both, but I guess its hard to control yourselves when you have that much history, and are still involved closely in each others lives.

    No excuse for crossing the lines of good behavior though, and its still cheating.
