    Should i get married??
    Here's my problem:
I'm in the us army reserves and my unit has been called on active duty, now that I'm going to be leaving for a year my boyfriend wants to get married. I've been with my boyfriend for going in 2yrs. And we know in our hearts that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. We were thinking about getting married in a few years!

SHOULD WE JUMP THE GUN AND GET MARRIED??

    PLEASE HELP

    Hi there!
My advice would be for u 2 wait until you return from duty and then get married. Long distance relationships are VERY hard to maintain/sustain. Believe me, I've been there!
There would be a lot of misunderstandings created because of the distance and you can't sort everything out through phone/email. The 'waiting' partner can get very frustrated and misunderstood. You won't be able to cope with your boyfrined's frustrations AND your high pressure job! You'll both blow up one day and it could get really nasty from there.
So, dear, its better to wait, do your country proud and THEN come back and get married. Good Luck!

You should get married now! The bond of marriage will make you feel closer to each other, give you a sense of belonging, & help you to endure the long period of separation.

I think you and your boyfriend should have a nice long talk.

Its your life and you both need to sit down, be calm and discuss the whole thing out. Let both your ideas flow and tell each other what's in your hearts. Maybe you will reach to the right decision like that.

No third person can tell you whether you should or should not, because it depends on both of you if you will be able to keep the relationship going...

    Good luck

    Probably not
The fact that you had to ask strangers whether you should get married is a good indicator that you shouldn't. I would wait until you get home.

I presume from the tone of your question that you'll be stationed a significant distance from your present home and that there's no way for your boyfriend to be able to accompany you? If that's the case then it's really not fair to him for you to get married right now. You're not able to be there for him right now. Unfortunately the military is not a very "family friendly" profession as it is. You may want to consider postponing marriage until you've completed your obligatory service, whatever that may be.

WAY TOO YOUNG!! End of story.

Human brains aren't even fully developed until 25.

You WOULD regret this - way too much to live for.

    Wait 5 years.

If you love him and he loves you - you can wait.

Things change A LOT when someone goes away to colllege. You may not like this one bit.

No, I don't think it would be best for you to get married yet. I think that this separation would be a very good test of the strength of your relationship. If you can survive being apart and stay faithful, then I think you should consider marriage.

Nope, don't do it, unless you can remain absolutely faithful to him. Still sounds too soon.
