I want to ask a question about my marriage life. I want to tell you that one and half month ago, me and my husband has clashed between us, he stopped me to go my sister's home without his permission, and he said if you will go there, I'll leave you yesterday. I go to my sister without telling him, I thought that I have told him may be past night, or morning, but he said that I haven't told him, now I'm much worried
And one thing more we have settled down every thing

Wala alaykom al salam,, sweety, I can see that your husband agrees that you can go to your sister if you take his permission right?, go to him right now and say that you propably forgot to take his permission and that your sorry ;), he seems to be a kind person,

-How long have you been married?
-Is this new behavior or has he always told you where you can and can't go?
-Why did you 'clash' over your sister's house?
-Does he have problems with you going anywhere else without getting his permission or is it just her house?
-Does he have a problem if she comes to your house or you meet somewhere else like a park or store?
-Can you request that he get permission from you to go to certain places?

Try to stay as calm as you can and discuss the issue with him. Try not to react to his words emotionally. Deep breaths and an open mind can help you find logical ways to explain how you feel and hopefully help him understand your viewpoints on this and other issues that come up in marriages. Disagreeing is fine. Try not to let any discussions escalate into 'fights'.

If everything is 'settled down', are you afraid this will start the fighting again?

Because in a non-islamic society people don't require permission from any one to visit their own sister. Nor should be it a cause for divorce.

Sometimes they are moved when its about culture, but this seems more about the interacting between husband and wife, so I think this is the appropriate forum.

She answered and told you that there was a clash between her husband with her sister, there were actually 3 replies from the kind lady to your kindness for your first question, :)

Ok I see the problem: I'm using the old blue skin and see absolutely no replies from the OP and all replies from marma show up as Reputation Received, not as replies here. The changes they are making to the site are really messing things up.
