    External moniter . No operating system?
    Hi,
    I just need to know if it is possible to boot to an external moniter without having and operating system installed..

    Yes, power on the laptop, press the FN + F keys that switch between internal lcd, external lcd and both.
    Depends on the laptop. Some maybe:

    FN + F7 or F5
    Each time you press it toggles between internal, external, and both.
