Clean Hard drive w/o Administrator Rights
I purchased a Dell D610 laptop really cheap (I now know why). I went in to wipe out the hard drive and install a completely new Operating System and when I load the disk to wipe the PC I am asked to provide an Administrator Password. It states that I do not have administrator rights to this device. Is there a way around this? I have a disk that I purchased totled PC Eraser, and is there anyway to load this w/o having admin rights?

No, you will have to access as an administrator to do that.

Since we can't verify the level of truth in your problem, I am not inclined to offer you help to bypass the administrator rights on your computer.

How do we know that you are not just trying to get around the limits your parents have set for your computer?

Thank you you are right you cannot verify that I am 45 years old and ourchased an obviously "hot" laptop. I believe this may be a lesson learned!
