Can Sony Vaio be completely recovered from the recovery disks
I have a Sony Vaio E series. I want to format it and erase the partitions using Fdisk. I need to know that after I have done this, can I completely restore this to the original settings using the 4 DVDs I created when I bought it.

Why bother? The Recovery disks contain an image of the disk. An image overwrites the drive on a sector by sector basis.
