Why won't my rotary phone call out
I recently purchased a 1965 rotary wall phone at an antique store. We checked the phone to make sure it received calls and also dailed out.. and it did. At our house.. we can receive calls on it.. but can not dial out.. When we try to dial out.. all we hear is the constant dial tone. Any suggestions?

You may need to swap the wires(polarity).

I just moved into a new home, however my old rotary wall phone will not connect to the plate on the wall. The tabs are way too close on the plate. Does anyone know if they still make one that will fit this kind of phone?
