    Book to purchase

A friend of mine is studying international law in Italy and she would like to purchase a good book about Labour Law in New York.
Could you please suggest me any good one?

Most of the Statues are online, such as places like
Labor :: 2006 New York Code :: US Codes and Statutes :: US Law :: Justia

Then of course, the US is also based on case law, they will want to research prior case laws on subjects. (such as Welcome to LexisNexis - Choose Your Path)

Books, build on concepts, and what area, (labor law is too big concept) there are many areas of labor law.
Here is one good book, and this company has many others.

Labor Law (We don't spell it with a "u" in the US) may have a different meaning than Employment Law. It sometimes may have more emphasis on organized labor (i.e.: labor unions, etc.).
