They are trying to fire my girlfriend for something she did not do. We work at acme with a coffee shop inside. They are saying that I made her a drink and that she didn't pay for it. But I would have to ring it up and I told them I would have paid for it I don't steal anything and that I tell you is the truth. When they called her in to question her about it she got mad and left they called me in because I was part of it and then it was dropped because it said on my supercard that it was paid for. NOW that she is trying to fight it they said I never paid for the drink. But they said I have nothing to do with it.. even though I know people who got fired for giving out free drinks.. again though I did not. Do you think its because we are together and it's the fact that we are gay That they just want to get ride of one of us? And what do I do about that if taking it to the union does not work?? Should I just try to get a new job.. because its kind of hard to find one now a days?

I see the issue she got mad and walked out, in any place I worked and/or was a boss, if you walk out, you automatically get fired

Yeah there was actually still a problem. Now they are saying it didn't show up because she was trying to fight it after she walked out. And The union said that she could get her job back even though she said she quite because the sort of made her in a sense. I really don't no what to do or how to handle it
