Should I pierce my navel myself because of a broken promise?? HELP!!

I've been begging my mom for a belly button piercing since I was 4 1/2 years old. My mom FINALLY said yes after 8 1/2 years (I'm now 13). My mom did something that she shouldn't have and it hurt my mentally VERY bad. She just said, "Kirsten, I'll make it up to you, and take you to get your belly button pierced a few days before school".
Well, I've been doing my research, and then my parents stared talking about getting a divorce. She said that in order for me to get my belly button peirced, I have to talk my dad into it, and I KNEW that the answer would be no, and that he might even hit... or blow up because I asked him. Sure enough, he did.
Now he's blowing it out of proportion, and saying that he's the one who makes ALL of the final desiscions, when that's not true AT ALL!! He won't let my mother make any choice financially. He even started saying that he'll sew the place that puts the jewelry in my body. I've even gotten to the piont where I said that I'll pay for it myself.
I went to the mall with some friends the other day, and I found this piercing kit. I bought it. I have EVERYTHING that I need, but I'm not sure if I should wait for thins to blow over, or if I should just do it myself, considering I've pierced other people, and my cartiledge, 4 times. What should I do. My mom broke a promise to me that she even signed a paper for. It hurts REALLY bad because It's something that I've been wanting for 8 1/2 years!! What should I do?!
PLEASE HELP ME!!
