    How do I obtain a license to buy wholesale jewelry? Do I have to have a business first?

    To purchase wholesale most companies require evidence that you are a licensed business...
    It also depends what kind of jewelry you are buying- if you are buying large amounts of cookie cutter goods from a larger wholesaler you probably need to show them some evidence (a business license, a federal issued EIN, etc)...

    Some smaller artisans will sell wholesale without such a thing, it's more a question of quantity...

    (by the way, check out Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade lots of the artisans are thrilled to have wholesale inquiries... I know I am :-)
