    E Etsitty jewelry
    I have an opal and sterling silver necklace with the hallmark E Ettsitty. The references to Etsitty on the net seem to refer to Navajo jewelry. What is known about an E Etsitty jewelry maker?

    I don't have a lot of information, but I can confirm Elizabeth Etsitty is a Navajo Jeweler and marks her work E. Etsitty. She does very nice turquoise and silver work. But there isn't a lot of background information available about her.

    E. Etsitty was a Navajo silversmith for Atkinson Trading Company. Her hallmark was "E. ETSITTY" stamped surname in 1/16 Gothic print. Stamp first used in 1976.
