    A web browser is a program used to access information on the Internet. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrom, Netscape (if that still exists), Opera, and others are examples of "Web Browsers".

    Javascript is a programming language (I hesitate to use that word, but it's probably pretty accurate) that programmers use to program functions in web pages.
