    Fellons and careers
Okay, I'm on this site to get advice. I'm 22 years old I have a non violent felony and I can't get a job because of my felony. What type of jobs should I apply for and what type of schooling should I do in order to be successful in the future.

Before you spending a fortune on schooling, figure out what careers you would like and then concentrate on them asking someone who is in that career what is required of them and what restrictions there are in that particular career.

There are way too many careers for me to even start naming some that you can be able to be a professional.

The best thing though, is if your state does allow expungement of felonies after 10 years look into that when the time comes and don't get arrested for anything else in the meantime and you will be okay career wise.

    Hi, robertsantiago!

What type of work experience, education and training have you already had, please? Depending on your experience, etc. it may be possible for you to do something where you're self-employed.

    Thanks!

Lots of ex felons around here working at the car wash and doing roofing work. But what do you want to do, you could learn a trade and open your own business perhaps go into management, learn to do dog grooming, so much depends on what you want to do

It depends if you are talking long term,or whether you desperately need to earn some cash to live on.

You sound right now like you desperately need to earn a living, go for anything garage work, labouring, bar work, door security, supermarket.. anything like that.

You don't say what tye of crime you have committed, therefore without more information it's very difficult to know what to suggest.

Why not just put an add a local newspaper... saying I NEED A JOB... WILL TRY ANYTHING ANYWHERE...

Wait and see if you get any comeback.
