Why do I get notifications on MSN of people I don't know ?
The past days I've been receiving in the "What's New" updates on MSN the following notification: "(Name of my brother) made comments on Your Friend's pictures".
It caught my eye because it said "Your Friend" and I didn't recognize the person on the little picture attached to the notification, so I clicked on it and it took me to a profile of someone I don't know and I most certainly don't have as contact (I only have close friends and family).
The profile had no name, which explains why it said "Your Friend" instead of Jane, John or whoever. It was also weird the fact that, besides the profile not having a name, it only had one picture, in which my brother actually did made a comment on, and the picture was of a woman not exactly "fully clothed" (I'm still regretting clicking on it, my brother has no decency whatsoever lol)
Anyway, does anyone know why the "What's New" Windows Live Feed would post this person as being "my friend" when she/he doesn't appear in my contact list? I asked my brother and he says that this person added him as a contact on MSN a few weeks ago, but he doesn't really know who she is.

Sounds like Spam and they normally take you to Live Chat sites.

Normal rule of thumb is if your not sure delete it.

I thought something similar. Every now and then I get notifications about people wanting to add me on MSN but I decline them. Maybe the same spam-person added me and my brother? But what are the odds of that happenning!
What I really don't get is why MSN would recognize this person as my contact/friend, considering it's not on my contact list.
Oh, and the Windows Live Profile (I think they are called Spaces?) was legit, so I don't get what good would it bring to the spam people to do so, don't quite understand how it would work. I really hope I didn't get infected of anything.

No one? I'm really wondering why I get these notifications and why they say that the person is MY friend if they are not in my contactlist (neither on msn nor in the live spaces thing).
The reason why I am asking is that I'm worried about my privacy and whether or not this person I don't know might be getting notifications from me as well
