Earlier I was staying in Mumbai where and was an avid listener of Vividh Bharati Marathi radio channel.

Now I have shifted to Ahmedabad Gujarat and miss hearing the same.

What kind of antenna or device can be connected to a home radio to receive signals and is it effective.

Please give guidance.

Antenna is based on wavelength, aka frequency. If anything, your radio would need to be able to receive the frequency and then you would have to have an antenna made to handle that frequency range.
