If I suspect that someone is siphoning money from a household budget and setting up their Own account, can I find out which bank and what the balance is?

I have met a man on line. We have emailed each other 2-3 times the first week. He wanted to get together,but his job didn't permit it last week. (his job takes him away from home for 1-2 weeks at a time) I emailed him on the 10th and 14th of this week. So guys is that too much at one time or not?
