Please provide more details. What operating system are you running? What passwords are you trying to get? Why do you need/want these passwords?
The reason I ask for clarification is because it sounds like someone used your computer and now you want to get their login passwords for sites like maybe their Facebook and e-mail or something.

I agree with FadedMaster, that's what it sounds like your doing and I don't know if I'm fully correct or not but, I don't think you can get those type of passwords. If you can I don't know about it, the only way I think that you can get those type of passwords are:
1.) Get it from the person.
2.) Guess it.
3.) Enlist the help in a keylogger
To my knowledge, other than those things I have listed... your pretty well screwed.

Not completely, I have used index analyzer to get a password before. If records your .dat internet files and passwords are sometimes recorded. I haveused thisto get a password to my brother in laws online dating website which I used to joke around with him.
Granted it's not really appropriate to get into others profiles, this was just for fun and he knew about it later.
Other then this getting passwords such as faceboook, myspace etc... is almost imposiible unless you have a keylogger. (or simply ask, unless you're trying to get it without them knowing)

I am closing this, OP did not provide enough info, and it is not legal or ethical to get another persons password without their permission merely because you allowed them to use their computer.
And I will warn those with this knowledge to review our rules and regs before giving info that may violate our site policies
