    Spinning circle and message telling me it is not w orking
    My computer does not respond to my command to internet explorer.. spinning circle and box reading " exploer not responding

    Check your modem and make sure power is connected to it. Also be sure the provider is not having an issue. Most computers have an internal search function to detect problems.

    Even if your router was off, I.E. would open and say something like "can't connect to the internet". It's more likely that your explorer is corrupted, possibly because of an infection or browser hack. You can try reinstalling it but I would do a complete scan of the PC first with something like Malwarebytes. You can also try another browser to see if that can at least get you back online. If you don't have another browser to install in your saved files you might have to get help from anothers PC. Also consider doing a system restore to a point before the problem started. It's a good idea to do the restore from safemode if you can get there. Did you recently install something or visit a site that gave you problems?
