    How do I prevent unwanted web sites from opening automatically
    Web page opens with sites I have not typed.

    Scan for malware infection.

    Also reset your internet browser. And make sure you disable all plugins for your browser.

    Good anti-virus and male-ware scanner is a must.

My operating system is XP Pro and Internet explorer 7. Some web sites just won't open others open but if I'm redirected the subsequent site will not open.

When I open my email program and click on any email to highlight it, it automatically opens without having to double click it. Also if I click on it to drag it to a folder or into the deleted items folder, it opens automatically. I have run check problems and that does not help. :confused:
