The port lights only indicate physical link status. They do not indicate anything about the logical configuration of the network. Start by confirming your network adapter's configured IP addressing is correct for the wired network the router is configured for. More info available at Networking Diagnostics - Helpful Hints.

Ok, the computer is getting address configuration from a DHCP server, most likely the router but could be another device if you have other devices in your setup. If other devices are present, confirm the addresses being served match the network the router is using. Otherwise, try the following to locate the source of problem:
    • Ping default gateway (router) @ xxx.xxx.1.1 - verifies local computer's network stack, connection to router, and any local firewall/security software (to some extent).
    • Ping ISP's DNS servers (64.233.217.x listed in your post) - verifies router, connection past your router into ISP's network, and connection to DNS server.
    • Ping a domain name such as "www.google.com" - verifies DNS is working and resolving names.
