    Sim cards and mobile broadband
There is a sim card slot under the battery of my laptop. I want to use it to access the web instead of buying the regular wireless air card, but I don't want to necessarily buy it first and experiment. Does any one know if and how this works? Is there any software needed? Do you just put in a sim card with data access and log on? Break it down to it's most simple form.
