    What are you doing when this appears?

    Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup.

    What OS?

    Sorry, still don't see it. Is there an error message that comes up?

    It automatically appear when user restart the computer after an window update
    What exactly is appearing? Is it a message to restore active desktop?

    If so, what are choices, just trying to know exactly what you are seeing.

    You can disable active desktop if you would like to, this would prevent from coming up, try this to see if this would go away and if you are not happy with results, all you have to do is run this file again and it will enable the desktop recovery again - just a small tool that enable/disbales the service with a click

    Go to this page and go to line 16 and click on it and then save it to your PC and then run the program and that's it, takes 2 sec

    Again, you can reverse what this does just by running the program again

    See if any of this helps

    Put your cursor on a blank spot on the Active Desktop Recovery Error page, do a right click, and select Properties. Select the Desktop tab, then select whatever image you want as your desktop image. And see if message comes back
    I think I may know, but not sure

    Similar to above quote - I'm pretty sure this should do it, hopefully

    Here is a basic script to change the above registry setting

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER = &H80000001
    strComputer = "."
    Set objReg = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer & "\root\default:StdRegProv")
    strKeyPath = "Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\SafeMode\Components"
    strValue = "0"
    ValueName = "DeskHtmlVersion"
    objReg.SetDWORDValue HKEY_CURRENT_USER, strKeyPath, ValueName, strValue

    copy this to notepad and save as activedesktop.vbs, then run the file, logoff then log back in again

    hope this helps
