    Yahoo IM
I have windows xp on my laptop and I'm trying to download Yahoo messenger but after it downloads the Yahoo toolbar and the Yahoo browser I get a message telling me that I am not authorized to download this and I need to try it from an administrators device. What does this mean and how do I stop this from happening because this is my personal laptop?

Mine did that too and it was because of the section of my computer that I was logged onto. I wasn't logged onto the administrator's section. Try that.
