    Can't load any Google sites!
I can't check my email~ this is so frustrating! About 4 days ago, my Windows XP laptop suddenly stopped loading any sites from Google, including Gmail. I tried everything-- I cleared browsing history and cookies, I made sure no authentic Google sites were blocked in my security options, I flushed the DNS server, and I tried 'ping'ing Google. None of that worked, and I tried quiting Internet Explorer (and Firefox also, as it won't load on either of those browsers) as well as restarting my laptop to see if that would get it to work, all to no avail. I contacted my service provider, AT&T Yahoo, but they had no idea what to do about it--the problem isn't due to them. They told me to contact Google, but there is no Google technical support aside from some group forums that I can't access now anyway. Besides, I have the feeling this isn't an actual Google company issue, that it's just a random site group that I cannot access for some reason.

However, I recently tried accessing it briefly from a web proxy, and I was actually able to load it, so I'm guessing it's something about my IP address that won't let me load it.

Please help! Any help you can offer would be wonderful.

    Best,
    Deb

See if adding Google to trusted sites might help
Tools, options, security, trusted sites and add *.google*.com and same for gmail
