    Scanning then Emailing?
Admittedly I'm Computer Illiterate when it comes to performing tasks on the Computer beyond Emailing and Browsing certain Forums and of course Searching the Web.. My Son lives at the other end of the Country and asked me to Scan a Page and Email it to him... I'm Sunk, sure I'd attempt but knowing me the Page will just end up in Cyber Space headed to who knows where.. Is there any Fail Safe like the ABC's of Scanning or Simple follow 1 2 3 Instructions out there.. Please & Thank You...

First question, do you have a scanner or all-in-one printer/scanner/copier device?

If so, what make and model?

OK, so you should be able to place the document on the flatbed and press the scan button on your printer. This should start something running on your PC that will allow you to scan the document and save it to a folder on your hard drive. Once its saved to your hard drive, you can then use the Attachments feature of your e-mail program to send it via e-mail.
