    Project Requirements
    DSL (Digital Line Subscriber) uses normal telephone lines for providing high speed network connection. Using the internet and other resources, perform a survey of the proposed DSL technology and write a report explaining the following factors:

    • Without going into too much technical detail, explain how does DSL offer many times better the network performance of a traditional analog modem.

    • Explain in your report the DSL Family Tree (or xDSL).

    • Discuss in your report the differences between ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Line Subscriber) and SDSL (Symmetric Digital Line Subscriber)

    • Compare DSL with Cable Modem system and explain at least 2 features that differentiate performance of DSL from Cable modem system.

    • You must cite all the references i.e. any internet web site, book, journal article etc. that you have used as a source of information for your report
