    I am calling javascript function through applet getting error as mentioned below

    Netscape.javascript.JSException: Unexpected error: This method should not be used unless loaded from plugin.jar


    Plugin.jar is already at classpath

    I'm no Java expert but why are you using code that references Netscape, a dead browser from the 90's?
