Long ago I wrote under my avatar short comment, status. Now I tried again and I failed. Is this option eliminated?

Long ago I wrote my status, a brief comment that was visible under my gmail avatar. Now I'm trying, but this comment is visible only in my Google profile, under my name.
Does the option of writing comments below avatars completely abolished or I just do not know how to activate it?

Have you looked in the Gmail profile settings, as that is normally were things like this are stored.

Curlyben, yes. I can write comment or status under my name in my Google profile, but it's not visible below my avatar (if others look for me in contacts section. Only in my Google profile. I would like to see that comment/status below my avatar too.
