    Can my Google searches be tampered with?
    Is it possible for a virus to affect the search words that come up in my Google drop down box?:confused:

    Yes,
    When using Google I have noticed that previous searches can be looked at in a drop down box and have come across words like 'Lolita' and 'preteen'. I confronted my boyfriend about this and he swears that they are the result of a spout of viruses our computer had. He does admit that he looks at porn but nothing like that. Can I believe him?

    Those are previous searches made through Google, no way around that. Hopefully friends use the computer when they were over. This can be disabled by going to tools, interenet options and then the content tab and click Autocomplete and uncheck boxes, this will disable the dropdodwn boxes you get I Google when you type the first letter.
