    It depends who do you want it with anyone specific and do you have a phone line

    You need to choose a service provider. Where I am I have a choice between th cable company and the telephone company.

    You choose a carrier usually either a telco or cable provider. They will then explain the rest of the process as it differs depending on the carrier.
