    AOL idx damage
    I cannot open any PDF files because it says my AOL odx is damaged and that I need to reload AOL. I have done that many times but it still does not work.:(

    If you are using Windows try this. Go to c:/program files/america online/backup and the copy the Main.idx file and paste it in c:/program files/america online/idb folder to overwrite the previous one.

    If you just want to be able to view PDF files again I recommed installing Foxit: Foxit Reader - Reviews and free Foxit Reader downloads at Download.com

    The installation should take control of the PDF file association.
