    Wall paneling foul odor smell
    I am moving into a house that has paneling in the kitchen. There is an odor comes from the paneling that is all over the house. I tried to wash the paneling with Murphys Oil but the odor got worse. Please help me. I am moving in in 2 days.

    Owning or renting? Wood paneling in a kitchen is not the greatest idea since wood can and will absorb odors. I could also be something else, worse, behind the paneling.

    Renting and all the paneling smells not just some or a portion

    If your landlord is not willing to do anything about it you have to decide if you can tolerate it or not, move in or not. Most of the fixes I can think off should not be considered by a renter.

    I am already moving in so it is to late. Can I use vinager or bleach?

    No, do not use either on wood paneling. Will the LL allow you to cover the paneling with a satin or dull polyurathane?
