My keyless garage door opener will not program
I have a Craftsman 1/2 hrs garage door opener, model 139.53673SRT, manufactured 1/97. I bought a Craftsman wireless keyless entry pad and it will not program. The light will not blink on my garage door opener. I believe I did exactly what it said, but, can't get it to work. It says it will work on models manufactured after 1993.

I mistakenly gave someone my garage door opener that didn't return it. I had a male friend come over and "change the code" including my car opener and gave me a universial which he also programmed. I came to realize my code for my keyless pad outside doesn't work (since he changed the code... )....
