    Installing floating floor
Loved the info on parquet flooring. My situation is slightly different in that the parquet floors have been damaged by water and have severely warped. They were installed with tar many years ago and I would like to install a floating floor... sounds like the underlayment will not provide enough smoothing to handle the warping.

Any advice on how best to remove the parquet flooring in place (about 800 square feet)? Thanks
