How do you remove balloon strings caught in ceiling fan?
We have a room which is two stores high. Parties are held there and balloons get loose. If we put in a ceiling fan, and the balloons get loose and the string gets stuck in the ceiling fan, is there an instrument that has scissors and a hook on the end, to remove the string? We don't want to buy a ladder because we would have no other need for a ladder that high nor a place to store it.

I don't think they make a "balloon string retrieval tool''.
However you do have options even if you don't want to buy a ladder.
    1. Just don't install the fan
    2. Outlaw balloons with strings
    3. Attach a sharp knife to a long pole
    Good luck, Tom
